The Top 26 business models have been selected to move on to the next round of the second annual DC eBay StartUp Cup Challenge 2018. Receiving more than 100 applications, 64 startups were invited to the Extreme-Build-A-Business Weekend held at the R.I.S.E Demonstration Center on July 27-28. Through a combination of highly interactive, industry-specific mentoring sessions, real-world tests, and self-guided visual thinking tools, over 300 coaching sessions took place.

The Top 26 Finalists selected (in no particular order) to advance into the competitive process are:

The Top 26 will present a full business model and give a seven-minute pitch to Judges who will identify the 12 best business models and advance them to the Semi-Final Round. These 12 semifinalists will then work with the DC eBay StartUp Cup Business Model and Pitch coaches who will provide expertise to help them polish their business models and pitching techniques.

Seven Finalist will compete for the top prize awarded in November. The first-place winner will receive $10,000, second-place $5000, and third-place, $2500.
